I’m an educator, adviser and development consultant who has been working with students for over 15 years. I am a lifelong learner, and have developed strategies to help other learners work more effectively, efficiently, and have more fun while learning. I also enjoy working to evaluate education programs, especially informal and online learning.

I am also a mixed methods researcher who is focused on exploring how history education shapes national narratives and identities, particularly in the context of historical atrocities, political conflict, and globalization. My work combines qualitative content analysis and critical theoretical frameworks with quantitative analysis of global educational trends to understand the interplay between education, memory, and national identity. I work on several projects that explore language learning for underrepresented students in Bay Area schools.
